Hello, welcome to Waites Farm Glamping. We are the Hicks family. Introducing Carol, Lloyd and Amelia. Dodgy picture below... We have lived on Waites Farm just over a year, so this will be our first year as a glamping and camping site and we are very excited to meet you all.
The Plan
Waites Farm hasn't operated as a farm for some years but we are still surrounded by agricultural fields as far as the eye can see. We have also kept reminders of the farm's past you will see around the site. We plan to add to the concept as we build each year.
We are lucky to have a tree surround to our long grass meadow but we don't want to stop there. Each year we plan to plant a number of trees to create more of a forest landscape with clearings in the years to come.
The Greener Camping Club
Our site is certified with The Greener Camping Club. It was important to us that we run an eco-friendly and sustainable camp site from the outset. They also give us a tree for every new member who joins with us so that should help the forest aspiration...
